Through a series of workshops, individual mentoring sessions, and strategic planning, fellows identify goals, develop strategies, build industry knowledge, and connect with experts in the field.

The SCALE Fellowship:

Built by Black women in music, for Black women in music.

The SCALE Fellowship was created by musicians, researchers, program designers, facilitators, and industry professionals with one mission: to elevate Black women in music and build a safe community where we gather, connect, and collaborate.

Fellows receive immediate and ongoing support, along with real pathways for growth and advancement. That depth comes from cross-sector partnership, bringing together expertise and lived experience from:

  • Grammy Award-winning songwriters
  • Working artists with national and global platforms
  • Producers and engineers
  • Artist development experts
  • Creative industry service providers
  • Program designers with a proven record of supporting artist entrepreneurs
