  • Impact-Driven – programs and services designed to support and sustain efforts that address systemic inequities in our community.

EIC PROGRAMS

THE TRANSFORMATIVE LEADER AWARD PROGRAM

The Transformative Leader Award program is an award and leadership development program for leaders addressing systemic inequity through social, cultural, economic, or community-based solutions. This is an 8-month leadership development program for social justice and nonprofit leaders. The program is designed to both recognize leaders for their work and support them in building strategies that navigate existing barriers and lead to sustainable change. Leaders from all sectors are invited to apply including but not limited to nonprofit organizations, philanthropic organizations, social impact businesses, community groups, corporations, academic institutions, and government and political leaders. THE SCALE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The SCALE Fellowship is a program designed in partnership with Limelight Creative, to provide individualized artist development and entrepreneurial skill-building curriculum. The program provides intentional opportunities for Black women in music to connect, share, learn, grow, and collaborate. Each cohort will accept up to 8 participants and provide Fellows with a financial award for acceptance into the program along with additional funds for: equipment, technology, business development, recording, branding, and legal support. THE CREATIVE IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM

The Creative in Residence program uses a people-centered approach that prioritizes racial equity and social justice, recognizing the intersection of how systemic inequities impact individuals both because of who they are, but also the work they do (intersectional identity). In order to make a real impact and move towards positive change, solutions must incorporate equitable practices and prioritize decision-making principles that do not perpetuate the systemic inequities that have historically harmed our communities. If solutions do not prioritize racial equity while recognizing and addressing socio-economic status, gender, sexuality, ability, and other identities, they will not work. Learn more.

FULL CIRCLE NON-PROFIT ACCELERATOR PROGRAM

The Full Circle Nonprofit Accelerator is an intensive 14-week program that combines workshops, coaching, networking, and a pitch event to build awareness in the community. Full Circle is the signature program of SVP Pittsburgh implemented in partnership with the Equity | Impact Center. The three organizations selected for the 2022 cohort represent a diverse group of nonprofit organizations and leaders directly addressing the needs of our community. SVP Pittsburgh and the Equity | Impact Center recognize how hard our nonprofit leaders are working to make an impact and this program provides the knowledge, resources, and skills they need to implement strategies for growth and sustainability.
